About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers to create future business opportunities
  • Increase profitability and expand existing accounts by selling ICU Medical Critical Care products
  • Extend customer relationships into new areas and new accounts
  • Meet territory sales quota for ICU Medical Critical Care products
  • Master presentations and technical knowledge to communicate clinical benefits to hospital clinicians
  • Position ICU Medical offerings against competing products as a clinical expert and consultative problem solver
  • Understand the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, competitive products, and distribution models
  • Conduct trials and implementation of ICU Medical Critical Care products
  • Develop knowledge of local clinicians through ASA, SCCM, AACN, and AAMI chapters
  • Communicate with managers and align sales efforts with company and regional targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior Critical Care and Anesthesia medical device sales experience is a requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience
  • Anesthesia or Critical Care products are preferred background
  • Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory and developing existing customer relationships with Supply Chain
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and comply with the Authorized Driver Policy
  • Strategic mindset and ability to develop and execute a business plan
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth using data-driven continuous improvement tools and methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work weekends/nights occasionally when necessary
  • Typically requires travel more than 50% of the time
