About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers to generate future business opportunities
- Increase profitability and expand existing accounts by selling ICU Medical Critical Care products
- Extend relationships into new areas with new accounts
- Meet territory sales quota for the Critical Care product line
- Master presentation skills and technical knowledge of ICU Medical products
- Communicate clinical benefits to hospital clinicians
- Apply knowledge of hemodynamic patient monitoring, temperature management, and pain management
- Position ICU Medical offerings against competing products clinically
- Serve as a clinical expert and consultative problem solver for clinical and supply chain contacts
- Understand the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, competitive products, and distribution models
- Conduct trials and implementation of Critical Care products
- Develop market knowledge and relationships with clinicians through local professional chapters
- Communicate with managers and align sales efforts with company and regional targets
- Work occasional weekends or nights when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior Critical Care and Anesthesia medical device sales experience is a requirement
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute a business plan to increase market share at strategic accounts
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver results through data-driven continuous improvement tools and methods
- Self-motivated, energetic, professional, and able to perform job duties with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
- Computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience
- Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory and developing existing customer relationships with Supply Chain
- Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Authorized Driver Policy
- Typically requires travel more than 50% of the time
