About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers to create future business opportunities
- Increase profitability and expand existing accounts by selling ICU Medical products
- Extend relationships into new areas and new accounts
- Provide limited post-sales implementation support
- Meet territory sales quota for ICU Infusion Therapy, Oncology, and Specialty products
- Master presentation skills and technical knowledge of ICU Medical products and relevant FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, and ASHP guidelines
- Position ICU Medical offerings against competing products using clinical expertise
- Serve as a clinical expert and consultative problem solver for clinical and supply chain contacts
- Understand the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, and distribution models
- Conduct product trials and implementation of ICU Medical products
- Develop market knowledge and relationships with clinicians through local professional chapters
- Communicate with managers and align sales efforts with company and regional targets
- Work on special projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Preferably medical device sales experience with relationships in key regional health systems
- Preferably experience in needle-free infusion therapy products and services
- Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory
- Experience developing existing customer relationships with Supply Chain
- Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, is required
- Valid driver’s license and compliance with the Authorized Driver Policy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to multitask
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work occasionally during weekends/nights when necessary
- Typically requires travel more than 50% of the time
