About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain ICU Medical's Respiratory Care business in an assigned territory
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Stabilize current business and develop future business opportunities
- Increase profitability and expand existing accounts by selling ICU Medical products
- Extend relationships into new areas and new acute and non-acute accounts
- Provide ongoing post-sales implementation support
- Meet territory sales revenue objectives for Respiratory Care products
- Present clinical benefits and apply technical knowledge to hospital and non-acute clinicians
- Position ICU Medical products against competing products as a clinical and consultative expert
- Conduct product trials and implementations
- Develop market and clinician knowledge through local SCCM, AARC, and ATS
- Align sales efforts with company and regional targets
- Work on assigned special projects
- Work occasional weekends or nights when necessary
- Travel typically more than 50% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior Respiratory and/or medical device sales experience is a requirement
- Strategic mindset with ability to develop and execute a business plan to increase market share
- Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver results through data-driven continuous improvement tools and methods
- Self-motivated, energetic, professional, and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Respiratory therapy, tracheostomy, or medical device sales background preferred
- Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory and developing customer relationships with Supply Chain
- Active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination
- Valid driver's license and compliance with the Authorized Driver Policy
