About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning and timely issuance of bonds and guarantees
- Independently process guarantee applications and monitor individual guarantees
- Provide operational support to guarantee issuers, clarify credit limits, and escalate deviations and limit breaches
- Redesign controlling reports for the guarantees function
- Regularly complete guarantee issuers’ reporting templates and prepare analyses for the Finance team
- Operate and maintain the portals of guarantee issuers and trade credit insurers
- Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing finance processes and systems and ensuring data quality
- Coordinate operational matters with project teams, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and external partners
- Independently process and approve invoices within the defined approval limits
- Manage contracts administratively and handle correspondence in German and English
- Support the guarantees team with day-to-day activities
- Monitor and clarify credit limits and submit regular sales reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk or tax clerk) or further training as a financial accountant
- Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Basic knowledge of bonds, guarantees, and credit insurance, ideally in a project-based business environment
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting is a plus
- Confident use of ERP and financial systems and MS Excel
- Careful, structured, and independent working style
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
