About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle 20–30 customer calls per day in a fast-paced environment
- Resolve customer inquiries through phone and other communication methods
- Instruct customers on the use of in-house diagnostic analyzers
- Coordinate and assist with equipment installations
- Troubleshoot mechanical hardware technical problems
- Troubleshoot software integration issues
- Use documentation and programs to provide solutions during customer calls
- Support Catalyst One, Catalyst Dx, VetStat, and other chemistry analyzers
- Work days, evenings until 9:00pm ET, and rotating weekends
- Provide on-call support when required
- Maintain supplied virtual-office equipment appropriately
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a technically related field, veterinary practice with chemistry analyzers, laboratory setting, or contact center environment
- Prior phone experience is a plus
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Aptitude to learn applicable software and hardware
- Networking and/or software support experience is a plus
- Proven track record of providing extraordinary customer service
- Superb verbal and written listening and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport quickly
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to learn quickly and apply skills to varied customer interactions
- Ability to be on the phone for 8 hours per day
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Availability by telephone, voicemail, email, and Microsoft Teams during scheduled business hours
- High-speed hardwired internet connection with minimum 15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
