About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the direct line between IDEXX and veterinary, veterinary technician, and animal healthcare diagnostic professional customers
  • Handle approximately 20–30 calls per day
  • Navigate customer inquiries and provide solutions through multiple communication methods
  • Use documentation and software programs to resolve issues during customer calls
  • Support Catalyst One, Catalyst Dx, VetStat analyzers, and other chemistry products
  • Instruct customers on use of in-house diagnostic analyzers
  • Coordinate and assist with equipment installations
  • Troubleshoot mechanical hardware technical problems
  • Troubleshoot software integration issues
  • Maintain availability through telephone, voicemail, email, and Microsoft Teams during scheduled business hours

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent in both French and English
  • Experience in a technically related field, veterinary practice with chemistry analyzers, laboratory setting, or contact center environment
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Aptitude to learn applicable software and hardware
  • Networking and/or software support experience is a plus
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and collaborative
  • Proven track record of providing extraordinary customer service
  • Superb verbal and written listening and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport quickly
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and learn quickly
  • Ability to be on the phone for 8 hours per day
  • Reliable and dependable attendance
  • Availability by telephone, voicemail, email, and Microsoft Teams during scheduled business hours
  • Maintain a high-speed hardwired internet connection with minimum 15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload
