About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Fulfill customer orders for diagnostic products and supplies through phone, fax, and email
  • Establish credibility with domestic veterinary customers
  • Use customer discovery to recommend additional products and services
  • Answer questions about product ordering, shipping, and IDEXX online platforms
  • Maintain accurate customer profiles and interactions in Salesforce.com
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Receive inbound calls and emails through a phone queue for most of the day
  • Attend trainings, coaching sessions, and individual development activities
  • Support demand generation and customer loyalty
  • Serve veterinary customers by supporting instrument consumables and related services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Sales, customer service and/or customer facing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly
  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented while working collaboratively
  • Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule between 7:30 AM and 9:00 PM EST Monday-Friday, including rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
  • Ability to maintain a high-speed hardwired internet connection of at least 15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload when working virtually
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or scientific discipline is a plus
  • Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market and healthcare or scientific industry experience is a plus
