About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Corporate Enterprise Software Account Managers as the payments domain expert
Contribute the payments perspective to account strategy and business reviews
Bridge the Payments team and Corporate Accounts by bringing payments strategy, product, and pricing guidance into the field
Keep stakeholders informed on corporate pipeline, adoption, and risk
Lead payments discovery with practice group leadership and finance teams across checkout, collections, reconciliation, and month-end close
Turn discovery into customer-specific payments value stories and business cases
Help identify expansion opportunities including text-to-pay, card on file, online payments, and moving remaining sites onto IDEXX Payments
Serve as the payments expert on new practice management system opportunities
Advise implementation, customer success, and product teams on requirements for multi-site rollouts and complex issues such as funding, chargebacks, and reconciliation
Build discovery guides, ROI models, and value story templates
Coach account managers and relay customer feedback to Payments product and marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in payments solutions consulting, solutions engineering, sales enablement, customer success, or account management for corporate or enterprise accounts
Experience ideally at a payments acquirer, payment processor, ISV, or software company with embedded payments
Working knowledge of interchange, chargebacks, funding, and reconciliation
Track record of leading discovery and building value-based business cases from processing statements and operating data
Experience presenting to and influencing C-suite executives, including corporate finance and operations leadership
Experience creating enablement content, coaching sales teams, and influencing sales partners without direct authority across a matrixed organization
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Microsoft Office proficiency
Travel approximately 25%
Experience in veterinary, healthcare, or another vertical software and payments model
ETA Certified Payments Professional (CPP), Glenbrook Payments Boot Camp, or a similar designation
