About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own technical direction for the team's applications and shared UI platform
Deliver applications to production across ten production pods using CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, a service-worker entrypoint, and a versioned CDN
Own the team's application template used for new organizational applications
Set code review standards, manage technical debt, and maintain the quality bar
Own the team's Scrum process
Represent frontend in architecture discussions with backend, platform, and product leads
Write code and make technical decisions as a hands-on lead
Lead three mid-level engineers, one senior engineer, and two QA engineers
Support the team's web applications, admin console, supervisor and receptionist consoles, call queues wallboard, dialer, and shared UI platform packages

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading a small distributed frontend team, including growing engineers
Strong React experience
Experience with legacy and greenfield codebases during a large Angular-to-React migration
Experience owning frontend delivery to production, including builds, caching, CDN, releases, and production incident handling
Daily practice with AI-assisted development and agentic tooling
Comfortable running Scrum for a team
English B1 or above
Nice to have: Micro-frontends
Nice to have: AWS experience with CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, S3, and CloudWatch
