About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and monitor inbound logistics operations, ensuring the plant is properly supplied
- Monitor international shipments, tracking ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and ATA (Actual Time of Arrival)
- Track purchase orders and proactively resolve delivery delays and outstanding issues
- Coordinate transportation with logistics providers (3PL and 4PL), prioritizing critical and urgent shipments
- Organize material deliveries from the port or terminal to the plant, ensuring alignment with receiving and storage capacity
- Work closely with customs brokers and customs teams to ensure the efficient clearance of cargo
- Consolidate operational information, performance indicators, costs, and investments for the logistics function
- Develop, update, and monitor reports, action plans, and operational controls
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of information in logistics systems, providing visibility and control over operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in logistics operations, supply chain, or international trade
- Knowledge of import, transportation, and warehousing processes
- Experience monitoring international shipments and managing carriers
- Knowledge of logistics management systems and operational control tools
- Analytical ability to monitor logistics KPIs, costs, and performance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with internal teams and external partners
- Intermediate English proficiency for interaction with suppliers and monitoring global operations
- Experience with inbound logistics in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of customs processes and cargo clearance
- Experience working with international logistics providers and managing global freight
