About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain AI-powered tools, automations, and workflows that improve Commercial team operations.
  • Identify repetitive work and implement technology solutions that save time and increase productivity.
  • Learn and support business systems across Commercial, quickly becoming proficient in new technologies as business needs evolve.
  • Partner with business leaders across each function to understand operational challenges and translate them into practical technical solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales to improve workflows across the sales cycle, from lead capture and qualification through opportunity management, quoting, and closing.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Salesforce and other commercial business applications.
  • Build dashboards, reporting, and lightweight applications that help teams make better decisions.
  • Support integrations between business systems using APIs, automation platforms, and low-code tools.
  • Document solutions and maintain technical documentation to ensure tools are easy to support and scale.
  • Stay current on rapidly evolving AI capabilities and bring practical ideas back to the business.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You love learning new software and can become productive in unfamiliar systems quickly.
  • You have built automations, AI tools, scripts, or applications that solved real business problems.
  • You are comfortable writing code in Python, JavaScript, or another modern language.
  • You have experimented with LLMs, AI agents, or workflow automation tools.
  • You naturally look for opportunities to simplify work and eliminate repetitive tasks.
  • You are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • You are curious, resourceful, and enjoy figuring things out independently.
  • You understand the sales process, including lead management, lead-to-opportunity conversion, pipeline stages, and the activities that move opportunities toward a closed sale.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience building software, automations, AI solutions, or business applications (preferred).
  • Experience with one or more CRM, ERP, or enterprise business systems; Salesforce experience is helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience using modern AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or comparable programming languages.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ including pricing rules, product catalogs, quote templates, and approval workflows (a plus).
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies and apply them to real business challenges.
