Key responsibilities & impact

Eliminate toil through automation and self-service by building modules and tooling for service setup, deployments, and issue resolution
Maintain platform health and delivery outcomes, including incident response and on-call management
Invest in AI-powered development workflows for routine maintenance
Optimize cloud platform costs across AWS and third-party providers
Architect and advise teams deploying ML workflows, real-time events, and video streaming
Own and evolve the Terraform estate, including shared modules, state and versioning management, and migrations
Build and maintain the internal developer platform and delivery automation using GitHub Actions, ECS, Lambda, and AI agents
Own and operate the AWS platform, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM, SSO, and Secrets Manager
Drive reliability and operations through Datadog monitoring, on-call participation, and incident response
Provide technical leadership and mentorship through RFCs, design reviews, code reviews, and cross-team influence without direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE
Deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong proficiency in TypeScript with the ability to write production-quality code
Solid knowledge of IAM, SSO, and observability tooling
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Experience building internal developer platforms or improving developer experience
Proficiency in Python
Experience building LLM or AI agents
Datadog-as-code experience
Familiarity with AWS Organizations, policy as code, and security posture work
