About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain monthly and quarterly recurring revenue reporting and forecasts
  • Analyze recurring revenue movements and explain variances to plan, forecast, and prior periods
  • Reconcile recurring revenue and bookings data to billings, deferred revenue, and recognized revenue
  • Produce executive-ready dashboards and reporting packages
  • Ensure reporting ties across CRM bookings, billing, general ledger, and planning tools
  • Own the annual bottom-up revenue forecast for assigned products or segments
  • Support annual operating plans and quarterly reforecast cycles
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses for churn, pricing, and sales capacity assumptions
  • Produce bi-weekly P&L reviews with commentary on drivers, risks, and opportunities
  • Track forecast accuracy and refine assumptions and methodology
  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Accounting, Billing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and finance leadership
  • Automate recurring reports and models and reduce manual effort
  • Maintain documentation of metric definitions, model logic, and reporting processes
  • Champion data quality and resolve discrepancies across CRM, billing, and planning systems
  • Use generative AI, scripting, or low-code tools to accelerate analysis and automation
  • Validate AI outputs against source data and follow data security, confidentiality, and responsible AI policies
  • Share emerging AI use cases and best practices with the team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
  • Preferably experience within a SaaS, subscription, or other recurring revenue business
  • Strong working knowledge of ARR, churn, bookings vs. billings vs. revenue, and growth dynamics
  • Advanced Excel, including dynamic arrays, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, and auditable model design
  • Advanced financial modeling, driver-based forecasts, and scenario analyses
  • SQL proficiency to query, join, and validate data
  • Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau
  • Working understanding of ASC 606 and deferred revenue concepts
  • Understanding of customer and contract hierarchies and recurring revenue data flows
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation is a plus
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative, curious, proactive, and ownership-oriented
  • Presence in-office at least 4 days per week
