About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure customer orders are organized for shipment in accordance with customer-requested delivery dates.
  • Support expedited shipments in case of urgency.
  • Provide regular cost analyses for transportation services.
  • Handle logistics disruptions and productivity problems.
  • Find ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Create and maintain shipment schedules, considering lead times, production capacities, and forwarder resource constraints.
  • Assist with other departmental tasks whenever required.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and the production team to establish efficient order control and effective customer service processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required.
  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in the production environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP tools is required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics forecasting, capacity planning, and cost control.
