About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute company-wide email distributions for executive messages and key communications from Leadership, HR, IT, Legal, Finance and Corporate Communications
- Maintain employee distribution lists and mailing groups
- Support scheduling and distribution of internal communications according to established calendars and timelines
- Review and test communications for proper formatting and functionality across desktop, mobile and email platforms
- Coordinate with Communications, HR, IT and other departments on employee communications related to benefits, compliance programs, policies and company initiatives
- Compile, produce and distribute the daily media coverage report
- Monitor news coverage involving iHeartMedia, its brands, talent, executives and key business initiatives; assess article sentiment and share relevant clips in real time
- Produce yearly impressions reports and other impressions analytics
- Develop and maintain media contacts, lists and editorial calendars for national, local and trade press
- Coordinate and schedule business meetings and arrange travel for the Communications division
- Submit monthly expense reports
- Process incoming invoices
- Support communications during company events, emergencies and special projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, administration, project coordination or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with media software including Adobe Photoshop, Cision, Meltwater, Burrelles and TV Eyes is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines and multitask
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with an 8 a.m. Eastern Standard start time
- BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
- Ability to perform work and resolve straightforward problems within established procedures with moderate supervision
- Understanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problems
- Close attention to detail and follow-through until issues are resolved
