About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a successful sales career with training from senior sales staff toward a Territory Sales position within two years
  • Support daily sales activities throughout the respective region
  • Achieve sales and market share growth by generating pull-through demand with contractors, builders and architects
  • Develop relationships and grow sales with customers in the territory
  • Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders and architects to drive demand
  • Present products to qualified end users weekly
  • Conduct product knowledge training sessions with customers
  • Submit weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely fashion
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs
  • Use approved sales and marketing tools within budget

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must be willing to consider relocation for future opportunities
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and professional attitude
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with a personal commitment to task completion
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Up to 80% travel may be required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Management or Marketing is preferred
  • Previous experience in the building products industry preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Sales analyst experience and firm understanding of sales performance metrics preferred
  • Previous experience in business-to-business sales or sales coordination preferred
