About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct routine Workday transactions for new hires, job changes, terminations, and other employee-related processes
  • Conduct position updates to maintain organizational data assignments
  • Assist with managing the Workday Support inbox/queue and responding to questions and concerns
  • Complete routine updates to maintain Workday structure
  • Conduct data audits for security roles, cost centers, reporting structures, and other areas
  • Support Workday documentation maintenance
  • Maintain the Workday job aid library
  • Identify and assist with implementing Workday process improvements
  • Assist with system enhancement projects, including new functionality, configuration and business process redesign, and semi-annual release preparation
  • Run regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working towards a post-secondary program in the field of Business, Commerce, Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • Highly organized, able to juggle competing priorities and adopt a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Knowledge/experience with Workday would be considered an asset, but not required
  • Co-op student eligibility implied by the co-op role
