About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-opinion veterinary consultations
- Perform routine surgery, dentistry and soft tissue procedures
- Conduct medical investigations and advanced surgeries according to experience and interests
- Provide continuity of care and maintain an appropriate in-house caseload
- Work with the nursing team to deliver outstanding clinical care
- Develop surgical skills and special interests with mentoring and support
- Collaborate with Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, receptionists and practice management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced GP Veterinary Surgeon
- Veterinary clinical experience appropriate for a varied first-opinion caseload
- Ability or interest in consultations, routine surgery, dentistry, soft tissue procedures, medical investigations and advanced surgeries
- RCVS registration implied by paid RCVS fees
- Ability to work collaboratively within a veterinary team
