About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor sales performance, identifying variances, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses by store, region, category, product, channel, daypart, transactions, average ticket, and other relevant dimensions.
  • Develop sales, average ticket, and gallon-volume forecasts for each store and service station, taking historical data, trends, seasonality, and commercial initiatives into account.
  • Build and monitor a pipeline of sales opportunities, promotional calendars, and product launches, ensuring that analyses translate into initiatives and results.
  • Design A/B tests and pilots to evaluate new offers, commercial mechanics, products, communications, and sales strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing, driving the development of campaigns and initiatives based on opportunities identified within the business.
  • Develop targeted plans to recover sales at underperforming stores or groups of stores.
  • Measure the results of implemented initiatives, identifying incremental sales and learnings for broader rollout.
  • Monitor market and competitive developments and translate their impact on the business.
  • Prepare and lead performance forums, presenting results, diagnoses, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Create and publish dashboards that facilitate access to information and support decision-making across teams.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve the team’s analyses and reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and inquisitive profile, with the ability to formulate hypotheses, test alternatives, and influence different teams to put initiatives into practice.
  • Previous experience in Sales, Performance Management, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Commercial Planning, Business Analytics, or related areas is a plus, particularly in retail, food service, restaurant, gas station, or multi-unit operations.
  • Strong people-management skills, including developing the team, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring clarity regarding deliverables, priorities, and deadlines.
