About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze, design, configure, test, implement, and support healthcare platform software configuration
- Review change requests for consistency and compatibility with existing systems
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and identify required modifications
- Implement business functions within established SLAs
- Analyze business requirements and perform configuration analysis, design, coding, and unit testing
- Develop or assist with prototype configuration
- Analyze and design configuration for changing regulatory requirements
- Escalate and resolve issues as directed
- Provide activity estimates and concise status updates
- Document request status in the change management system
- Work independently and collaborate with a team
- Assist with projects at management's direction
- Maintain understanding of assigned systems' technical and functional architecture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two years of experience working with business systems or in healthcare
- Thorough understanding of claims processing and billing
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Ability to run basic queries and reports
- Willingness to work outside core business hours to meet business needs
- Experience with relational databases and data models (preferred)
- Ability to design basic SQL queries (preferred)
- Experience in a configuration analyst role (preferred)
