About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement SelectHealth policies for negotiation, execution, and maintenance of self-funded contracts and documents
  • Work with staff and management to administer the contract review process
  • Ensure proper contract review, documentation, and signature
  • Manage centralized contract filing, maintenance, and storage
  • Oversee the contract approval process, including preparing documents for signature
  • Understand and implement SelectHealth standards for self-funded documents
  • Draft, review, and negotiate self-funded contracts
  • Develop, update, and maintain timely electronic filing and storage processes for contracts
  • Assist with training SelectHealth caregivers on contract creation, development, negotiation, approval, execution, maintenance, and standards
  • Collaborate with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors
  • Perform work remotely with business travel as needed and attend potential onsite interviews and meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an applicable major
  • Five years of experience working with and analyzing contracts
  • Intermediate experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Excellent writing, editing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Preferred: Master’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Preferred: Legal or paralegal experience
  • Preferred: Seven years of experience working with and analyzing contracts
  • Preferred: Experience working for an insurer, health care provider, pharmacy benefit manager, or pharmaceutical company
  • Preferred: Excellent analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Candidates in eligible locations must comply with applicable employment registration requirements
  • Ability to participate in required Microsoft Teams video interview and potential onsite interviews and meetings
