About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Epic Tapestry application, which manages payor operations and managed care workflows
- Plan, design, implement, maintain, optimize, and provide ongoing support for healthcare applications
- Provide advanced technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance throughout application lifecycles
- Manage small and mid-sized application-related projects and help plan and execute projects
- Mentor other analysts and contribute to configuration, deployment, support, archival, and decommissioning standards
- Document and recommend workflow changes and technical/functional designs
- Partner with external vendors on integration, implementation, support, and troubleshooting
- Resolve common and complex issues, incidents, and problems according to service levels and department standards
- Serve as project manager and complete project-management functions for mid-sized projects
- Perform quality reviews of team build
- Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and vendors
- Follow documentation and change-management standards
- Develop training and knowledge-base materials
- Configure electronic and mechanical hardware with software products to meet client specifications
- Develop and understand business reporting needs
- Participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities
- Develop and maintain testing plans and scripts
- Participate in team, project, and department meetings
- Define project objectives, complete business cases, and help stakeholders with ROI, benefit plans, and KPIs
- Forecast resources, equipment, hardware, and data connections for roadmaps and construction/reconstruction projects
- Create cost estimates, provide infrastructure information to Capital Planning, and coordinate DTS equipment procurement
- Supply field teams with equipment and data-connection lists and mapping
- Support Tapestry Payor Data Management, including member enrollment, eligibility, benefits, claims, and provider data
Requirements
What you’ll need- Epic Tapestry certification is required
- Bachelor's degree required in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field
- Alternatively, actively working toward a Bachelor's Degree with nine years of professional experience
- Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education upon Supervisory and HR approval
- Four years of work experience, or actively working toward a Bachelor's Degree with six years of experience in related areas
- Will be required to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (including pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word
- In-depth business and application knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems
- Ability to assess needs and determine the best approach through documentation
- Problem definition and data collection skills
- Ability to read and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and process documents
- Ability to present information and respond to inquiries or complaints
- Knowledge of project management and control
- Ability to operate computers and IT equipment
- Ability to see and read computer monitors and documents
- Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods
- Monday–Friday availability, 8 AM–5 PM PST
