About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Epic MyChart and Patient Experience applications for Intermountain Health's patient-facing digital experience
- Plan, design, implement, maintain, optimize, and support healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle
- Own build and configuration for MyChart questionnaires, test results release, proxy access, activation, and eCheck-in workflows
- Partner with Clinical Operations, Compliance, Privacy, HIM, external vendors, internal stakeholders, and peers on access, consent, integration, implementation, support, and troubleshooting
- Document and recommend workflow changes and technical/functional designs
- Resolve common and complex incidents and problems within service levels and department standards
- Serve as project manager and perform project-management functions for mid-sized, multi-team projects
- Review team build quality and follow documentation and change-management standards
- Develop training and knowledge materials
- Configure hardware and software products to meet client specifications
- Develop and understand business reporting needs
- Participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities
- Develop and maintain testing plans and scripts
- Define project objectives, prepare business cases, and support ROI and KPI planning
- Forecast resources, equipment, hardware, and data connections for roadmap, construction, and reconstruction projects
- Provide Capital Planning with equipment and infrastructure costs and lead procurement and coordination of DTS equipment
- Mentor other analysts and contribute to configuration, deployment, support, archival, and decommissioning best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Epic MyChart certification preferred
- Experience with MyChart questionnaires, test results release configuration, proxy access, MyChart activation and identity verification, eCheck-in and pre-visit workflows, MyChart Bedside, Hyperspace build, MyChart rules, and System Definitions preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word
- In-depth business and application knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems
- Ability to assess needs and determine appropriate approaches through documentation
- Skills in problem definition and data collection
- Ability to read and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, correspondence, and process documents
- Ability to present information and respond to inquiries or complaints
- Knowledge of project management and control
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field required; alternatively, actively working toward a bachelor's degree with nine years of professional experience
- Additional relevant experience may substitute for lack of education with Supervisory and HR approval
- Four years of work experience, or actively working toward a bachelor's degree with six years of experience in related areas
- Must certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification
- Ability to operate computers and IT equipment, read monitors and documents, and remain sitting or standing for long periods
- Monday–Friday availability, 8 AM–5 PM
- Must reside outside California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont, and Washington
