About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide short-term stabilization services to children and families
  • Conduct primarily in-home visits, with occasional video visits when appropriate
  • Serve the Tooele Region and provide backup to other regions as necessary
  • Help families navigate challenges, build skills, and strengthen family functioning

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current resume including work history and relevant licenses or certifications
  • SSW licensure required; current state licensure as a Social Services Worker
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; degree will be verified
  • Computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Willingness to work evenings, holidays, and other nontraditional hours as needed
  • Ability to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel throughout the greater Tooele and Salt Lake City regions
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to see and read information and labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, and identify equipment and supplies
  • Ability to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
  • Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
  • Frequent computer use and typing for documentation and accessing information
  • Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
