About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and improve weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review processes for marketing and sales leaders
  • Track campaign performance and business trends to drive decisions
  • Translate vague business questions into workable analyses, propose solutions, and manage delivery efficiently
  • Partner with internal customers and engineers to convert recurring manual reporting into decision-support tools
  • Work with marketing, sales, finance, product, and customer success stakeholders to scope needs and design efficient, accurate information solutions
  • Contribute to data collection and modeling discussions where marketing needs intersect with the broader company data model
  • Own a domain of the marketing analytics portfolio as a senior individual contributor with light oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of business analytics experience in a software or information business
  • Strong understanding of SQL
  • Working proficiency with Python sufficient to perform end-to-end analysis independently
  • Track record of designing dashboards and reports used for decision-making
  • Ability to explain analyses or technical concepts in a way that drives action
  • Ability to own a workstream end-to-end with light oversight
  • Nice to have: experience with attribution modeling, including multi-touch, time decay, and incrementality
  • Nice to have: experience with lead scoring
  • Nice to have: experience integrating sales and marketing data and a full-funnel perspective
  • Nice to have: experience with dbt, Databricks, Looker, or another data management tool
  • Nice to have: experience in partnership marketing, digital marketing, or performance marketing
