About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple companies
Support the Group Management Accountant
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for three companies
Process and approve supplier invoices
Reconcile bank account transactions
Monitor Accounts mailboxes and respond to queries
Maintain and review fixed asset registers
Raise sales invoices for two to three entities
Chase overdue invoices and resolve client invoice queries
Ensure timely processing of purchase and sales invoices
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, fixed asset registers and bank reconciliations

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years experience bookkeeping or accounting
Strong grades in Mathematics
Ideally working towards an Accounting qualification such as AAT
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent prioritising and time management skills
Proficiency with Outlook
Experience using Accounting systems
A solutions-focused mindset
Application of data protection and confidentiality
Ability to manage three Accounts mailboxes
Organisational skills to manage multiple entities
Professional manner
Part-time availability of 25 hours per week
Experience in a growing SME environment
