About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reconcile information with the Finance department
- Follow up with suppliers and buyers
- Register suppliers and maintain general records
- Assist buyers in negotiating item purchases
- Apply analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Develop cost-reduction initiatives by seeking better pricing, material, payment, and delivery-term conditions
- Serve existing suppliers and identify new suppliers
- Create quotation comparison sheets, prepare purchase orders, and manage system-based contracts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a university degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- Advanced English proficiency
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
- Internship hours: 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
