About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead sales coverage and market/business development management services focused on the aerospace market
- Develop the market for Incora products and services within an assigned geographical territory
- Travel throughout the assigned region to call on existing and prospective customers for chemical sales opportunities
- Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales to build and maintain sales
- Develop customer relationships through sales calls, market intelligence, product knowledge, and awareness of local competitive conditions
- Prospect, generate, evaluate, and develop qualified sales leads into customer relationships
- Research and present sales opportunities aligned with customer requirements and goals
- Develop new customer relationships
- Maintain customer and prospect information in the CRM database
- Scope potential opportunities
- Visit existing and prospective customers independently or with other Incora functions
- Meet or exceed annual bookings, gross profit dollar, and gross profit percentage goals
- Build strategic partnerships with potential and existing Incora accounts
- Communicate current customer activity and prospect status throughout the Incora organization
- Submit periodic sales reports and expense reports in accordance with policies and budgetary allowances
- Attend scheduled and impromptu sales meetings, company-sponsored training, meetings, and events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid aerospace experience is essential
- Knowledge of aerospace chemicals and the MRO market preferred
- BA or BS degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business preferred, or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Current contacts and working relationships within the aerospace/industrial market
- Strong team-player orientation and history of personal self-development
- Business acumen and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven sales experience demonstrating proactivity, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Direct experience in a chemical management services contract and service provision is an advantage
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong follow-through and perseverance while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with internal and external customers
- Ability to be detail-oriented and perform in-depth research
- Strong competency with integrated data systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate to advanced Word and Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, and importing/exporting files
- Ability to travel extensively
