About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide the day-to-day interface with the customer
- Manage and maintain associated internal and external reporting and KPIs
- Manage a segment of customer demand, such as production, sub tiers, or aftermarket
- Review customer KPIs, identify trends and issues, and prioritize mitigation actions
- Serve as the first point of escalation to customers
- Ensure customer service corrective action plans and process improvements are deployed effectively
- Manage and review forecasting input, inventory, and variance investigations
- Provide customer intelligence for business planning and inventory holdings
- Undertake tactical customer management and internal liaison
- Maintain customer communication and service levels
- Implement continuous improvement actions and processes
- Participate in department- and company-level improvement activities
- Comply with internal rules, policies, procedures, Health and Safety, and Data Protection requirements
- Undertake other appropriate duties allocated according to business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience in sales (preferred)
- 5–7 years of combined experience in supply management, inventory planning, or supply chain, preferably in the aerospace or chemical management industry
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-standing customer relationships
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others to excellence
- Demonstrated ability to be results-driven and profitability-minded, especially in customer engagement and sales negotiations
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills, with emphasis in Quality and Customer Service
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with internal and external customers
- Ability to be detail-oriented and perform in-depth account research when required
- Clear and accurate data entry, documentation, and reporting skills
- Strong competency working with integrated data systems
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and intermediate to advanced Excel
- Experience with spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting files, as applicable
- Experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity
