About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build and maintain scalable web applications across the front end and back end
Translate wireframes, mockups and functional specifications into high-quality code
Build responsive, modern user interfaces using React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
Develop back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query development
Integrate third-party services and APIs such as Stripe, OpenAI and authentication providers
Implement background job processing with BullMQ/Redis and handle CSV and Excel data imports/exports
Optimize applications for speed, scalability and performance
Implement testing, CI/CD workflows and version control best practices
Troubleshoot and debug across the full stack and external services
Maintain clear documentation to support future scaling
Collaborate with product and engineering teams and iterate on customer feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of full-stack web development experience
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and React
Back-end experience with Node.js and Express
Experience with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure) and deployment workflows using Docker
Strong Git and version control skills
Ability to work independently and in a lean, fast-paced team
Strong communication and collaboration skills
PST hours preferred
Experience at early-stage startups or with MVP development
Experience with AI integration (OpenAI or similar APIs, basic prompt engineering) or chatbot interfaces
Experience with Supabase, Stripe, BullMQ/Redis and web scraping tools
Familiarity with the client's industry
