About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Lead planning to ensure technology investments are future-proof, scalable, and support business growth and transformation
  • Identify emerging technologies and industry trends and advise leadership on business impact
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technology roadmaps
  • Plan and prioritize technology initiatives and allocate resources strategically
  • Translate business-unit objectives into actionable technology plans and solutions
  • Oversee the technology project portfolio and evaluate project performance and KPIs
  • Identify portfolio risks and collaborate with project managers and business leaders to mitigate issues
  • Foster collaboration between technology and Product, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and other business units
  • Liaise between technical and non-technical teams and communicate technology strategy to senior business leaders
  • Drive integration of technology initiatives across the business
  • Develop and manage the technology budget with Procurement and Finance
  • Analyze financial impacts and recommend investment and cost optimization strategies
  • Manage technology investments to maximize ROI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience 15+ years in project management, strategy, communication, and operations in a technology-driven global organizations
  • Experience driving internal development teams and external partners to deliver business outcomes using agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of technology project lifecycles, portfolio management, and best practices in delivering large-scale technology initiatives
  • Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, ROI analysis, and investment prioritization for technology projects
  • Experience with vendor management in an outsourced or managed service environment
  • Experience with M&A or PE environment is desirable
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on roadmaps, business cases, and ROI
  • Strong leadership with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographical locations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to senior executives and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven ability to lead and manage both onshore and offshore teams, including strategic oversight, cross-cultural leadership, communication and coordination, performance management, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Limited US travel to major hubs is required
