About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead external strategic communications—from developing overarching messages to ensuring consistent implementation across multiple channels
Develop stories and content, translating complex topics into clear, audience-focused communications
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and influencers, while expanding relevant communications networks
Coordinate and moderate events
Support communications activities and public appearances involving senior management and the executive team
Assess communications content with regard to internal guidelines and sensitive information
Manage external service providers and agencies
Represent communications topics to internal and external stakeholders
Introduce new ideas and contribute to the continuous development of communications activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed university degree in communications, media, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in strategic and operational communications
Experience working in a complex, regulated, or politically influenced environment
Ideally, experience or industry knowledge in healthcare, digital health, digital transformation, politics, public affairs, or a communications/PR agency
Experience working with a range of stakeholders, ideally including government authorities or institutional representatives
Strong understanding of strategic external communications and sound judgment regarding sensitive communications content
Experience collaborating with executives and senior management, ideally including event moderation
Independent, structured, and proactive approach to work
Confident presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage a diverse range of people with key topics
Excellent written and spoken German and English
