About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide BD and/or bid support to Business Development Managers
  • Coordinate BD support activities for a specific region and work to deadlines
  • Prepare quotations and follow up for feedback while maintaining customer communication
  • Understand, prepare and obtain stakeholder approval for pricing strategies
  • Account for currency, pricing and margin fluctuations when preparing quotations
  • Ensure the bid process is followed
  • Produce supporting quotation/bid documentation, including Manufacturers Authorisation Letters
  • Review and log customer orders to ensure quoted scope and terms are followed
  • Coordinate with international customers and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Preferably an A level or Degree and/or experience within a BD, Supply Chain, Programme Management function (not essential)
  • Experience within a BD, Supply Chain, Programme Management function working in high pressure situations with experience of providing excellent customer service
  • Customer relationship experience and knowledge
  • Intermediate/Advanced computer skills within Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and SharePoint
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and tackle administrative and complex tasks under guidance
  • Flexible approach and willingness to meet internal and external customer deadlines
  • Proactive approach to self-development and improvement
  • Commercially astute, results-driven attitude
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained
