About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
  • Manage asset additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and impairments
  • Ensure accurate capitalisation of project and technology expenditure
  • Support month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting processes
  • Monitor and report capital expenditure against approved budgets
  • Prepare fixed asset reconciliations and management reporting
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis
  • Improve fixed asset processes, controls, and reporting
  • Produce and deliver finance documentation, including financial designs and proposals, for Indra management, project teams, and client stakeholders
  • Develop and report financial management reports, financial analysis, and KPIs to Indra management and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Indra Ireland Senior Financial Accountant and Implementation Services Manager (Project Manager)
  • Fulfil other roles and responsibilities at a similar level as organisational requirements change

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstratable experience across change control, incident management, exception management, and high-volume transactions management
  • A professional accountancy qualification and admission to membership of a recognised professional body of accountants
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a finance role, such as Finance Business, Finance Analyst, or Financial Accountant
  • Demonstrable experience with Fixed Asset accounting
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and knowledge of project financial management
  • Knowledge of data analytics and financial modelling
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Flexible and adaptable with experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Understanding of public sector accounting, public transport ticketing technology, or ability to quickly acquire such understanding (desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience working in a high-volume transaction environment (desirable)
  • Experience with Maximo or other asset management software (desirable)
  • Experience in contract management (desirable)
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland
  • Must be willing to travel 5%, depending on business requirements
