About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with a luxury beauty client to translate luxury brand DNA into immersive physical and digital retail destinations
  • Adapt and scale global designs into localized US retail footprints and retailer requirements
  • Compile, format, and organize quarterly visual merchandising, flagship, and new store opening guidelines
  • Order new graphics, transparency, and video assets for new doors
  • Concept and design 3D in-store displays, holiday animations, and graphic layouts
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Creative Ops, and Field Teams
  • Author and package detailed DTO specifications with dimensions, localized die-lines, and material callouts
  • Manage project approvals, timelines, budgets, vendor development, and production
  • Track VM maintenance, stock, replacements, purchase orders, and estimates
  • Coordinate print, production, and installation vendors; request quotes, manage proofs, and review prototypes
  • Supervise local visual installations and ensure luxury-grade execution
  • Own professional photography shoots for key projects used in global reviews
  • Support store preparation, reporting, and photo documentation of New York metro stores twice monthly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–6+ years of experience in visual merchandising and luxury retail design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Proficient in 3D design software (SketchUp)
  • Creative drive to transition from executing guidelines to developing original 3D spatial concepts
  • Proactive and strong ability to multi-task, manage multiple production deadlines, and coordinate vendor deliverables
