About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain SW components for NAS, including file system management
Implement and optimize network file-sharing protocols (NFSv3/4, SMB/CIFS, S3)
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, data integrity, and reliability through clustered environments
Collaborate with QA, PM, and other R&D groups (Core, UI/CLI, management API, platform/HW)
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
Improve code quality using Python suites, code coverage, static analysis, and memory leak detection
Contribute to system architecture decisions around scalability, high availability, and fault tolerance
Monitor and improve system performance under high I/O and concurrent access conditions
Document technical designs, APIs, and operational procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-7 years of experience in coding with C++
BSc./B.A. in Computer Science/equivalent degree graduate
Strong problem-solving skills along with the ability to work independently
A team player with leading skills
Highly motivated with strong self-learning abilities
Ability to read and understand a large existing code-base
Strive to learn new things and gain experience
Preferred: Experience in server-side development
Preferred: Experience in performance-oriented development
Preferred: Familiarity with networking and networking protocols (TCP/IP)
Preferred: Experience with Python
