About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Pitch and secure broadcast opportunities for clients across CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business and leading investing and business podcasts
Develop and maintain relationships with anchors, reporters, producers and podcast hosts across the financial media landscape
Monitor breaking market news, economic data, earnings and macro trends to identify timely media opportunities, conferences and segment ideas
Prepare executives, portfolio managers and strategists for television and podcast appearances through messaging, positioning and coaching
Represent broadcast on client account calls and internal strategy discussions
Integrate media opportunities into broader communications campaigns
Support the broadcast team while expanding the firm’s reach across regional markets, affiliates, emerging platforms and market research
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of professional skills
Identify and pursue stretch goals
Participate in initiatives supporting Infinite’s vision and values
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Infinite’s values: integrity, agility, compassion and courage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Three to five or more years of experience in broadcast journalism, television producing, booking, media relations or financial communications
Strong contacts, sharp news judgment and a deep understanding of financial and business media
Excellent written, verbal and analytical communication skills
Proven ability to build and maintain media relationships proactively in a fast-moving news environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities, clients and deadlines at once
Comfortable preparing senior executives for high-stakes appearances and providing candid, useful coaching
