Senior Account Executive

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow Info-Tech Research Group membership and help IT and business leaders and their teams succeed
- Sell the full suite of Info-Tech products and services to prospective and current clients
- Conduct consistent monthly prospecting and lead generation targeting the right buying centers
- Leverage online resources, sales tools, and company marketing campaigns
- Work marketing leads and conduct warm calls within the geographical territory
- Book onsite sales presentations with prospective clients
- Customize PowerPoint presentations for target audiences
- Execute sales appointments while demonstrating product and functional knowledge and following sales processes and methodologies
- Manage sales opportunities efficiently through the pipeline
- Participate in ongoing sales coaching and training
- Provide customer feedback to senior leadership to improve sales and marketing effectiveness, products, and innovation
- Partner with the research department and include relevant analysts on sales presentations as needed
- Advise the commercial sector within Kansas City
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in a sales role serving technology and business leaders within the commercial sector, with a proven track record of sales success
- Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
- Ability to build and maintain trust-based, value-added relationships with technology and business leaders at the CxO level
- Prior experience selling to IT and business leaders preferred
- Prior experience selling IT research, advisory, and consulting services is an asset
- Prior experience selling IT-related products and/or services within the commercial sector in Kansas City
- Prior experience working inside Kansas City
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and staff at all organizational levels
- Proven ability to participate in value-based client conversations
- Superior listening, critical thinking, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, flexible, rapidly changing work environment
- Intellectual curiosity about the effect of IT on the business landscape and passion for continuous learning
- Ability to travel for onsite meetings with prospective clients
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Valid passport or enhanced license for travel to Canada
- Valid driver's license
- Home office space available, as this is a remote role
