About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the day-to-day performance and operational health of assigned dealership accounts
  • Coach and develop BDC agents through regular call reviews, feedback, and performance conversations
  • Listen to agent calls daily to identify coaching opportunities and improve performance
  • Document coaching sessions, expectations, and follow-up plans
  • Monitor leads, CRM tasks, follow-ups, and appointment activity
  • Help ensure assigned accounts meet performance targets and KPIs
  • Serve as a primary point of support for agents assigned to accounts
  • Communicate directly with dealership clients and respond to questions, concerns, and operational needs
  • Identify performance or service issues early and work proactively to resolve them
  • Escalate repeated performance concerns or issues requiring additional leadership support
  • Stay actively engaged in dealership and internal communication channels throughout the day
  • Participate in outbound phone activity and lead by example
  • Attend staffing and operational meetings as required
  • Support phone production while managing coaching, account performance, and client communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior automotive BDC or dealership experience is required
  • Strong understanding of automotive BDC operations
  • Experience coaching, training, and developing others
  • Ability to provide clear and constructive performance feedback
  • Understanding of lead follow-up, appointment setting, confirmations, and CRM accountability
  • Comfortable working directly with dealership clients
  • Ability to balance coaching responsibilities with hands-on production
  • Takes ownership of problems and works proactively to solve them
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Organized and consistent with follow-up and documentation
  • Thrives in a remote work environment
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Experience as an Automotive BDC Representative, Senior BDR, BDC Trainer, BDC Team Lead, BDC Manager, Internet Sales Manager, or Automotive Sales or Service BDC Leader
