About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage inbound enquiries from prospective sponsors, exhibitors and partners.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries.
- Understand prospect objectives and identify relevant AUSREiiF opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, packages and follow-up communications.
- Manage opportunities through HubSpot CRM from enquiry to conversion.
- Proactively identify and contact potential sponsors, exhibitors and commercial partners.
- Conduct email, telephone and LinkedIn outreach.
- Arrange meetings and sales conversations for qualified opportunities.
- Develop and own a prospect pipeline.
- Manage sponsorship and exhibition sales from prospecting through contract.
- Develop tailored commercial propositions and proposals.
- Present partnership opportunities to senior stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close agreements.
- Identify bespoke partnership, thought leadership, networking, branding, exhibition and content activation opportunities.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure commercial commitments are delivered to a high standard.
- Increase the value and longevity of client relationships.
- Track activity, pipeline value, conversion rates and revenue against targets.
- Report regularly to the Head of Australia.
- Identify pipeline gaps and assist in developing strategies to address them.
- Own agreed commercial revenue targets.
- Build knowledge of Australian property, infrastructure and investment sectors.
- Identify new organisations, sectors and commercial opportunities.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities.
- Represent AUSREiiF professionally in the market.
- Share market intelligence and feedback with the wider team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Permanent employment basis.
- Commercially minded business development professional.
- Ability to identify prospects, respond to enquiries, develop opportunities, convert leads and build client relationships.
- Experience or capability across inbound and outbound business development, sponsorship and exhibition sales, lead generation, account management and strategic partnership development.
- Ability to engage directly with senior stakeholders across government, property, infrastructure, investment and professional services sectors.
- Ability to manage sales opportunities through a CRM, specifically HubSpot.
- Ability to conduct email, telephone and LinkedIn outreach.
- Ability to prepare tailored commercial propositions, proposals and follow-up communications.
- Ability to present partnership opportunities, negotiate commercial terms and close agreements.
- Ability to track pipeline value, conversion rates and revenue against targets.
- Knowledge or ability to build knowledge of Australian property, infrastructure and investment sectors.
- Ability to attend relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
- Ability to represent AUSREiiF professionally in the market.
