Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in local journalism or business-to-business journalism
- Proven writing, research, and editing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent, accurate writing across a range of formats
- Experience developing and shaping stories from concept to publication
- Ability to identify new angles and innovative ways to cover topics and issues
- Knowledge of relevant data sources, industry developments, and key contacts
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a collaborative mindset
- Strong initiative and ability to perform well in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Established network of general insurance industry contacts (desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of using SEO to grow and engage readership (desirable)
