About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain positive working relationships with court personnel and members of the public
- Research public records and indexes to retrieve relevant criminal and civil record information
- Accurately enter results into proprietary systems, marking records clear or recording information found according to client instructions
- Communicate court holidays, closures, delays, courthouse structure updates, process changes, and fee adjustments to the Supervisor
- Provide timely updates on issues affecting business operations or customer commitments
- Serve as backup for other Field Researchers in the designated area
- Adhere to InformData quality and turnaround-time standards
- Report quality concerns and trending issues to the Supervisor
- Support ordering and completion of court copy requests
- Conduct searches in surrounding areas or through online research when assigned
- Maintain expertise in background screening processes and understand InformData operational workflows
- Assist with accuracy, time service, productivity, turnaround time, and on-time delivery performance metrics
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute
- Collaborative team environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Daily access to reliable transportation, a computer, and high-speed internet
- Successfully complete all required introductory training
- Available during normal courthouse hours and willing to work overtime with prior notice
- Ability to multitask, manage time, and maintain detail-oriented processes
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods
- Ability to operate office equipment constantly
- Ability to occasionally move, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry no more than 20 pounds
- Ability to view multiple monitors for extended periods and determine accuracy and transcribe data
