Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for internal teams, from requirements gathering through delivery
Own the Power BI environment, including datasets, refreshes, workspaces, and access
Fix broken refreshes and retire reports that no longer provide value
Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines
Collect and aggregate data from clinical, billing, and vendor systems into the central data warehouse
Act as key contact with external vendors regarding data agreements and data exchange
Manage data formats, schedules, incoming and outgoing feeds, and vendor issues
Collaborate with departments to turn open questions into measurable analyses
Work with executives to identify opportunities for improvement
Establish KPIs measuring the effectiveness of business decisions
Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers
Verify outputs against source data before they inform decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, finance or computer science, or equivalent experience
Three or more years building and supporting data and reporting systems in daily use
Hands-on ownership of a BI environment, not report authoring alone
Strong SQL; ability to write and debug queries against a large production database and judge whether results are plausible
Power BI expertise including models, DAX, refreshes, workspaces, and access management
Experience using AI assistants to produce queries, models, reports, and scripts, with ability to review and test outputs
Comfortable with APIs and integrations, including vendor APIs, scheduled files, and feeds
Able to read and work in C#; internal Portal is built in C#
Clear written communication with non-technical staff
Ability to work PST hours as needed highly preferred
