Billing Specialist

• Review home infusion charges, billing records, orders, authorizations, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare and submit clean claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Bill home infusion medications, supplies, administration services, and applicable per diem or related services
• Apply HCPCS/CPT codes, units, modifiers, NDC information, place of service, and other claim elements
• Validate drug quantities, dosage units, dates of service, and billing units
• Identify missing or inconsistent information and coordinate corrections before submission
• Review payer-specific billing guidelines, fee schedules, coverage requirements, and claim submission rules
• Validate authorizations, referrals, and other payer requirements
• Confirm payer, member, provider, and service information is accurate
• Review and resolve claim rejections and denials
• Correct billing errors and resubmit claims when appropriate
• Research payer responses and denial codes
• Communicate recurring denial trends and billing issues to the Billing Lead
• Maintain accurate billing notes and claim documentation
• Perform billing quality checks and participate in internal billing audits
• Follow billing SOPs, payer requirements, Revenue Cycle policies, and privacy requirements
• Collaborate with Billing, Accounts Receivable, Authorization, Pharmacy, Operations, and other departments
• Assist with billing workflow improvements and clean claim rate increases
• Participate in training and process updates related to home infusion billing and payer requirements

Home Infusion Billing Specialist

Nurse Practitioner

• Provide clinical leadership and manage day-to-day operations across multiple ambulatory infusion centers
• Supervise RNs, LVNs, MAs, and mixologists through remote and in-person supervision
• Collaborate with the Medical Director on virtual case discussions, care-plan development, escalated patient issues and reactions, infusion protocols, and documentation audits
• Ensure clinical protocols, patient safety, regulatory standards, and organizational procedures are followed
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based patient care plans
• Review and sign off on treatment notes and patient documentation
• Occasionally provide direct patient care and demonstrate clinical skills to staff
• Interview and hire team employees
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and one-on-ones
• Provide leadership, training, mentoring, and support for a collaborative team culture
• Oversee clinic schedules, staffing, resource allocation, workflows, and patient care delivery
• Track and analyze clinic performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency
• Develop strategies to improve clinic performance and patient care delivery
• Audit inventory management and supplies
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives, regulatory audits, accreditation surveys, and survey-day activities
• Conduct on-site visits to each clinic at least once monthly
• Provide real-time coaching and mentoring focused on process improvement and enhanced patient care
• Cover clinics in Bellevue, Mountlake Terrace, Olympia, Everett, and Tacoma, Washington, with travel throughout the region

Nurse Practitioner Manager

• Provide clinical leadership and manage day-to-day operations across multiple ambulatory infusion centers
• Manage Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Mixologists delivering specialty infusions and injections
• Engage in remote and in-person supervision with the Medical Director, including virtual case discussions, care-plan development, escalated patient issues and reactions, infusion protocol review, and documentation audits
• Ensure clinical protocols are followed and patient safety is prioritized
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based patient care plans
• Review and sign off on treatment notes and patient documentation
• Occasionally provide direct patient care and demonstrate clinical skills for staff
• Lead interviewing and hiring of new team employees
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and 1:1s
• Provide leadership and training to foster a collaborative team culture and continuous improvement
• Oversee clinic workflows, schedules, staffing, resource allocation, and patient care delivery
• Maintain compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Track and analyze clinic performance data, including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement strategies to improve clinic performance and patient care delivery
