About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create physician schedules for hospital clients and physicians
  • Maintain professional working relationships with hospital clients and physicians
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Troubleshoot physician scheduling conflicts
  • Provide mandatory on-call support after business hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain physician calendars
  • Manage travel itineraries, hiring and welcome packets for physicians
  • Coordinate and schedule property viewings with leasing agents
  • Negotiate leases and housing vendor contracts
  • Maintain housing, including leases, utilities, housekeeping, maintenance, and auto reports
  • Manage and control housing budgets
  • Establish rental rates through market research, cost determination, and housing referrals
  • Ensure premises are ready for new occupants, including utilities, furniture, housekeeping, and security
  • Create housing and auto policies and procedures; orient new physicians to properties and enforce policies
  • Monitor and complete automotive maintenance and repairs timely and cost-effectively
  • Manage vendor contracts and implementation processes as assigned
  • Improve process and procedure execution to support quality patient care
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two (2) year degree or three (3) years of healthcare administrative experience
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience
  • Previous experience working with Physicians preferred
  • Commitment to organizational core values: Integrity, Compassion and Excellence
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Self-sufficient, strong time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent ability to communicate processes and procedures in a training environment
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills within a service environment
  • Excellent organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Strong administrative and coordinative skills
  • Ability to make strategic decisions and think critically
  • Exercises accuracy and attention to detail, as well as discretion
  • Ability to use sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone, email, video conference and face to face contact
  • Ability to use manual dexterity, visual acuity and hearing acuity to effectively use and operate office related equipment such as but not limited to a computer, copier, scanner, camera, phone, headset, keyboard and mouse
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a keyboard and workstation with low periods of reaching and standing
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at time
