About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct 20–25 outbound calls per day to assigned accounts to build relationships and identify business opportunities
  • Develop and grow existing customer accounts while uncovering new opportunities within the territory
  • Understand customer needs and recommend IT solutions, services, and programs
  • Educate customers on Public Sector technology trends and industry best practices
  • Prepare, present, and manage competitive pricing proposals and quotes
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendor partners, and subject matter experts to support customer success
  • Maintain accurate account activity and pipeline management
  • Travel approximately 2–3 times annually for customer meetings, industry events, and relationship-building opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to achieving goals and delivering results
  • Experience selling technology, IT products, software, hardware, cloud solutions, or related services preferred
  • Familiarity with Public Sector customers, including State & Local Government, Education, or Federal agencies preferred
  • Experience managing customer accounts and growing long-term business relationships preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, operations, and support teams preferred
  • Must pass a drug test and successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check
