About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the strategy across the solution category and leverage data insights to create multi-vendor go-to-market strategies
  • Own the financial health and overall P&L responsibility for the assigned vendor or category
  • Develop sales, marketing, pricing, and inventory tactics to achieve Ingram Micro’s plan
  • Influence Ingram Micro’s category strategy through understanding of the technology and vendors
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key vendors as the main point of contact
  • Identify growth opportunities, new product offerings, and strategic partnerships
  • Lead vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements
  • Report and inspect vendor performance against objectives
  • Coordinate with supply chain on product delivery and inventory management
  • Work with Marketing on initiatives, promotions, and campaigns
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Four-year college degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum five years functional experience including at least three years specific experience
  • Ability to make significant contribution to processes and systems
  • Ability to ingest and integrate inputs across technology, customers, and financials to independently deliver a comprehensive GTM plan for sales, marketing, and product/inventory planning
  • In-depth knowledge of the platform industry, including cloud-based solutions, SaaS, and related technologies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding business objectives
  • Ability to develop and execute vendor business plans
  • Customer-centric focus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Travel may be required for vendor visits, industry events, and strategic meetings
  • Must pass a drug test and pre-employment background check
