  • Transform customer, consumer, market, competitive, and business intelligence into actionable growth opportunities
  • Identify emerging trends, unmet needs, competitive advantages, and new growth opportunities
  • Translate insights into strategic recommendations shaping business strategy, innovation priorities, portfolio decisions, commercial opportunities, and go-to-market execution
  • Lead global market intelligence and trend forecasting capabilities
  • Shape enterprise strategy and growth priorities through intelligence and insights
  • Synthesize market, customer, consumer, competitive, regulatory, technology, and business intelligence into actionable recommendations and audience-specific stories
  • Partner with Global Category Marketing to quantify market opportunities and commercialization potential
  • Identify and prioritize near-term growth opportunities with Regional Marketing to drive go-to-market activation and commercial execution
  • Anticipate market shifts, uncover whitespace opportunities, develop growth hypotheses, and guide investment and commercialization decisions
  • Guide strategic planning, portfolio decisions, and investment priorities using data-driven intelligence
  • Ensure innovation pipelines are grounded in validated customer and consumer needs through the stage-gate process
  • Work with Brand and Marcoms COE to translate insights into thought leadership
  • Work with Regional Marketing to shape customer engagement strategies and go-to-market execution
  • Build and scale AI-enabled insights capabilities
  • Define and lead a world-class Global Insights Center of Excellence, including talent, methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Champion insight-led decision making and demonstrate measurable business impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), Data Analytics, Economics, Market Research, or a related commercial discipline preferred
  • 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Insights, Strategic Marketing, Market Intelligence, Commercial Excellence, Business Strategy, or related functions
  • Experience within global B2B ingredient, food, beverage, specialty chemical, life sciences, or sophisticated CPG organizations
  • Demonstrated track record of translating insights into business outcomes, shaping growth strategies, influencing investment decisions, supporting innovation commercialization, and driving profitable revenue growth
  • Deep expertise in customer, consumer, market, competitive, and business intelligence
  • Experience leading global teams and influencing across complex, matrixed organizations
  • Understanding of regional market dynamics across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM
  • Strong understanding of AI-enabled insights capabilities, advanced analytics, data platforms, automation, and emerging technologies
  • Experience embedding digital and AI solutions into business decision-making processes
  • Strategic thinking, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Experience influencing senior executives, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders through evidence-based narratives
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
  • People leadership experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships across Marketing, R&D, Commercial, Strategy, Digital, and regional organizations
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous
