About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop understanding of relevant products and disease areas for discussions with medical professionals
  • Facilitate account management, including account planning, field resource coordination, customer education and promotion support, and reporting
  • Establish phone presence and build productive business relationships
  • Use customer networks, resources, and phone/web tools to expand stakeholder connectivity
  • Identify and drive opportunities that create access, policies, programs, and processes supporting product demand
  • Engage targeted healthcare professionals in informational and promotional communications
  • Complete required data entry, including target responses, notes, and follow-up actions
  • Profile and manage targeted healthcare professional lists
  • Maintain call productivity and required metrics
  • Manage daily sales call activity to maximize sales and market share objectives
  • Respond to customer needs and questions to achieve call plan objectives
  • Maintain product expertise and competitive product knowledge
  • Communicate accurate product information using proper medical terminology
  • Complete Client product training and meet training expectations
  • Maintain positive impressions with the Client and customers
  • Execute sales strategies in compliance with healthcare regulations and Client policy
  • Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality under HIPAA

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2+ years of successful sales experience (Pharma, B2B)
  • Proven success in the healthcare industry required
  • Experience interacting with office personnel highly preferred
  • Previous Virtual/Contact Center sales experience is required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Must complete Client product training, including self-study, testing, field work, and classroom or electronic training
  • Must comply with Federal Healthcare Program requirements, FDA promotional regulations, Client policy, and HIPAA privacy and security rules
